ORDINANCE NO: 2020-454 (Sponsored by: Committee on Finance and Appropriation) "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF ONE (1) RESPIRATORY THERAPIST I, SALARY GRADE 11, UNDER THE PAGADIAN CITY INFIRMARY AND SETTING THE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AS WELL AS THE FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION" Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council) of Pagadian City in session assembled that: SECTION 1. - Position Created; Duties and Responsibilities. The position of Respiratory Therapist I, Salary Grade 11, is hereby created and added to the current Personnel Schedule of the City Government of Pagadian under the Pagadian City Infirmary and shall be invested with the following functions, duties and responsibilities, to wit: Performs respiratory care modalities that include oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, humidity-aerosol therapy, pulmonary drainage procedures, mechanical ventilation, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation; and Performs other related work under the direction of doctors. SECTION 2. - Requirements on Education, Eligibility and Work Experience. Pursuant to the Position Classification and Pay Plan of the Civil Service Commission, the following basic requirements as basis for appointment to the position shall be satisfied: Education: Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job Eligibility: Career Service Professional Work Experience: None Required Training: None Required SECTION 3. - Appointment and Funding Requirement. The afore-mentioned personnel shall be appointed by the City Mayor in accordance with the provision of the Civil Service Laws. The funding requirement for the salaries and other benefits of the above-mentioned position shall be incorporated in the Calendar Year 2021 Annual Budget of the City Government of Pagadian taken from personal services. SECTION 4. - Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
