ORDINANCE NO: 2020-440 (Sponsor: Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang) "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT I1, SALARY GRADE 17, UNDER THE ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION, OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR, DEFINING ITS DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR" Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council) of Pagadian City in session assembled that: SECTION 1. - Creation. There is hereby created the position of Executive Assistant II, Salary Grade 17, in the Administrative Division, Office of the City Mayor, which shall be invested with the corresponding primary duties, functions and responsibilities, viz: Under general supervision, assists in performing of a variety of administrative research and technical duties in reaching or implementing substantive decisions; Assists in performing of research in specialized phases of such fields as economics and finance, law enforcement, development of non-Christian areas and compensation of local government officials and employees as basis for executive decisions; Assists in the implementation of cultural and educational projects and makes studies of specific projects in these fields; and Does other related work as required. SECTION 2. - Positions' Classification and Tenure of Office. The above-created position shall be classified as primarily confidential in nature and the appointee thereto shall be co-terminus with the appointing authority. SECTION 3. - Qualifications. The basic requirements on education, work experience, training and eligibility for the herein created position shall be in accordance with the applicable policies, guidelines, rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission pertinent thereto. SECTION 4. - Fund Allocation. Funding for the salaries as well as the other personal benefits attached to the position shall be provided for in the Annual Budget of the General Fund for the ensuing years. Initially, however, the personal services appropriations from the herein vacant and funded positions under the Office of the City Mayor are hereby reverted/realigned to provide for the salaries and other monetary benefits attached to the new position covering the period June 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, to wit: Item No. Position Title/Salary Grade Salary, Per Annum 14 Security Agent I, SG-8 P 191,040.00 31 Personal Driver I, SG-3 142,116.00 Total P 333,156.00 SECTION 4. - Effectivity.
