ORDINANCE NO: 2017-396 (Author: Honorable Jurofer P. Pulmones) "AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING A TEMPORARY CURFEW PERIOD WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN FROM 1:00 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING TO 4:00 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING UNTIL JANUARY 31, 2018" Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (12th City Council) of Pagadian City in session assembled that: SECTION 1. Purpose. - This Ordinance is enacted primarily to impose a shortened curfew within the City of Pagadian to allow the public an extended period to witness, enjoy, observe and/or participate in the various activities of the Paskuhan 2017 and the Pasalamat Festival 2017. SECTION 2. Modified Curfew. - The temporary curfew schedule shall be from 1:00 o'clock in the morning up to 4:00 o'clock in the morning. SECTION 3. Enforceability. - (a) This particular Ordinance shall suspend and temporarily supplant the pertinent provision of City Ordinance No. 2017-378, and without need for further legislation, automatically ceases effect on 31 January 2018. (b) From February 1, 2018 onwards the imposition of curfew shall be with reference to the provisions City Ordinance 2017-378. SECTION 9. - Effectivity. - This Ordinance shall take effect upon approval. ENACTED AND APPROVED by the 12th City Council of Pagadian City during its 66th Regular Session held on 19 December 2017 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall, Pagadian City.
