ORDINANCE NO: 2017-377 (Sponsor: Committee on Education, Science, Technology & Accreditation of NGOs and POs) "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (C) OF SECTION 4 AND SECTION 6 OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2017-377, KNOWN AS "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE GUIDELINES ON THE GRANT OF SCHOLARSHIP AND EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE BENEFITS UNDER THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM" BE IT ORDAINED, by the 12th City Council of the City of Pagadian in session assembled: SECTION 1. Paragraph c, Section 4 of City Ordinance No. 2003-236 is hereby amended to read as follows, to wit: "C) Educational Assistance Benefits. Student-grantee with the final rating requirement in an averaging scheme of 80% or 2.50 shall be eligible to receive an educational assistance equivalent amount based on their actual Tuition Fee and Miscellaneous Fees but not to exceed Three Thousand Five Hundred (P3,500.00) Pesos." SECTION 2. Section 6 is likewise amended and modified to read as follows: "SECTION 6. There shall be provided in the City's Executive Budget an annual appropriation of One Million Five Hundred Thousand (P1,500,000.00) Pesos for this purpose." SECTION 3. Repealing Clause. All Ordinance or resolutions inconsistent with this Ordinance is hereby repealed or modified accordingly. SECTION 4 Effectivity. - This Ordinance shall take effect starting the first semester of 2017.
