ORDINANCE NO: 2012-327 "AN ORDINANCE FURTHER AMENDING ARTICLE IX, SECTION 4, PARAGRAPH (a), ITEM 5 OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2012-327, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GUIDELINES AND POLICIES GOVERNING THE OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE CITY COMMERCIAL CENTER OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF," AS AMENDED" WHEREAS, City Ordinance No. 2012-327 entitled "An Ordinance Establishing the Guidelines and Policies Governing the Operation and Management of the City Commercial Center of the City Government of Pagadian and Imposing Penalties for Violation Thereof" was passed by the 9th City Council sometime 01 September 2009 to operationalize the City Commercial Center (C3); WHEREAS, with the operation of the City Commercial Center, the C3 Board forwarded to this Sanggunian its Resolution No. 2011-16 which in substance proposed the reduction of the rental rates for the office spaces in the fourth and fifth floors of the facility from the current Three Hundred Fifty (P350.00) Pesos per square meter per month to Two Hundred Fifty (P250.00) Pesos per square meter per month which rate is provided for in Item No. 5 of Paragraph (a) in Section 4 under Article 9 of City Ordinance No. 2009-288, as amended; WHEREAS, such suggested measure-after having been scrutinized and evaluated-is supported by this body premised on the fact that the City Government currently is promoting the patronage and occupancy of the City Commercial Center more particularly the spaces allotted and pre-identified as for rent and for office use; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Frank Jefferson L. Villegas Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (10th City Council) of Pagadian City in session assembled, that: SECTION 1. Item 5, paragraph (a) of Section 4 under Article IX - (Occupation, Ownership, Lease and Assignment of C3 Stalls) of City Ordinance No. 2009-288, as amended by City Ordinance No. 2010-311, is hereby further amended to read as follows, to wit: "a) x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x Fourth & Fifth Floor: Office Spaces P250.00 per square meter/month" SECTION 2. Repealing Clause. - Provisions under City Ordinance Nos. 2009-288 as amended by City Ordinance No. 2010-311 which are inconsistent with this measure are hereby repealed, updated and/or modified accordingly. SECTION 3. Effectivity. - This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
