ORDINANCE NO: 2011-322 "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT III, SALARY GRADE 20, IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION, OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR; DEFINING ITS DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; AND ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFOR" Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (10th City Council) of Pagadian City in session assembled that: SECTION 1. - Creation. There is hereby created under the Administrative Division in the Office of the City Mayor the position of Executive Assistant III, Salary Grade 20. SECTION 2. - Position Classification and Tenure of Office. The above-created position is hereby classified as confidential in character and the appointee thereto shall be co-terminus with the appointing authority. SECTION 3. - Functions, Duties and Responsibilities. The position shall be invested with the following primary functions, duties and responsibilities, viz: Under general supervision, performs a variety of administrative research and technical duties in reaching or implementing substantive decisions; Does research in specialized phases of such fields as economics and finance, law enforcement, development of Non-Christian areas and compensation of local government officials and employees as basis for executive decisions; Assists in the implementation of cultural and educational projects and makes studies of specific projects in these fields; and Does other related work as required. SECTION 2. - Qualifications. The basic requirements on education, work experience, training and eligibility for the herein created position shall be in accordance with the applicable policies, guidelines, rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission pertinent thereto. SECTION 3. - Fund Allocation. To initially enforce this ordinance, funding for the salaries and other benefits of the above-mentioned position from October to December 2011 in the amount of P100, 346.00 as hereunder itemized: Salary P 82,797.00 PERA 6,000.00 Life & Retirement 9,936.00 Pag-ibig Contribution 300.00 Philhealth 1,013.00 ECC 300.00 Total Appropriations P 100,346.00 shall be sourced out of fund reversions of the appropriations for Personal Services in the Office of the City Mayor (Account No. 1011), particularly the following allocations: Item 42, Traffic Operations Officer III G-18/1, under the City Security Services Division, P287,952.00; and Item 103, Administrative Aide I (Utility Worker 1) G-1/1, under the Population Development Services Division, P86,352.00. The succeeding years' appropriations shall then be correspondingly provided for under the budget of the said Office. SECTION 4. - Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval. ENACTED AND APPROVED by the 10th City Council of Pagadian City during its 52nd Regular Session held on October 11, 2011 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.
