ORDINANCE NO: 2011-318 "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT CITY GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT HEAD 1 (ASSISTANT CITY SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER), SALARY GRADE 23, IN THE CITY SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR" Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (10th City Council) of Pagadian City in session assembled that: SECTION 1. - Creation. There is hereby created the position of Assistant City Government Department Head 1 (Assistant City Social Welfare & Development Officer), Salary Grade 23, in the City Social Welfare and Development Office. SECTION 2. - Duties and Functions. The above-created position shall be invested with the primary responsibility of providing support/assistance to the City Social Welfare and Development Officer in the management, operation and supervision of the department to ensure the efficient and effective administration and implementation of the social services, functions and responsibilities of the City Government. SECTION 2. - Qualifications. The basic requirements on education, work experience, training and eligibility for the herein created position shall be in accordance with the existing rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission pertinent thereto. SECTION 3. - Fund Allocation. To initially enforce this ordinance, funding for the salaries and other benefits of the above-mentioned position shall be sourced from the Lump Sum Appropriation for Personal Services under the Office of the City Mayor under Account Code 000-1011-9931 (Non-Office). The succeeding years' appropriations shall be correspondingly provided for under the regular budget of the City Government. SECTION 4. - Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
