ORDINANCE NO: 2010-312 (Sponsor: Committee on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation) "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT IV, SALARY GRADE 22, UNDER THE PROMOTIONS AND LIAISON DIVISION, OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR, DEFINING ITS DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR" Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (10th City Council) of Pagadian City in session assembled that: SECTION 1. - Creation. There is hereby created the position of Executive Assistant IV, Salary Grade 22, in the Promotions and Liaison Division, Office of the City Mayor. The position shall be co-terminus and/or primarily confidential in nature and shall be invested with the following primary duties, functions and responsibilities, viz: Under general supervision, performs a variety of research that will assist the Chief Executive in the implementation of projects and activities in the operation of the City Commercial Center (C3); Acts as overseer in the implementation of projects and programs in the C3; Supervises all personnel assigned at the City Commercial Center (C3) and to define their duties and responsibilities as contained in the provisions of the ordinance governing the operation of the C3; Submits reports/feedbacks to the Chief Executive in relation to the C3's economic activities including its revenues and collections; and Does other related work as required. SECTION 2. - Qualifications. The basic requirements on education, work experience, training and eligibility for the herein created position shall be in accordance with the applicable policies, guidelines, rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission pertinent thereto. SECTION 3. - Fund Allocation. Funding for the salaries and other benefits for the above-mentioned position shall be sourced from the Lump Sum Appropriation for Personal Services under the Office of the City Mayor under Account Code 1011-9931 (Non-Office). The succeeding years' appropriations shall then be correspondingly provided for under the budget of the City Government. SECTION 4. - Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
