Sanoria) "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE PAGADIAN CITY MATERIALS TESTING LABORATORY, PRESCRIBING THE GUIDELINES FOR ITS OPERATION AND SETTING THE FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE SERVICES THEREIN OFFERED" Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (9th City Council) of Pagadian City in session assembled that: SECTION 1. - TITLE. This Ordinance shall be known as the "Pagadian City Laboratory Testing and Quality Control Ordinance". SECTION 2. - DECLARATION OF POLICY/PURPOSE. The City Government of Pagadian seeks to ensure the welfare and safety of the general public by adhering to the generally accepted engineering principles and standards particularly in the use and/or application of quality-verified materials in the construction of buildings and roads. For this reason, the Pagadian City Materials Testing Laboratory is hereby established and operated to undertake and/or conduct the necessary and applicable tests on all construction materials used and/or applied in government infrastructures in accordance with generally accepted standards. SECTION 3. COVERAGE. The services of the Pagadian City Materials Testing Laboratory shall be open to the general public who may seek its technical support subject to commensurate fees/charges based on the request form to be filled-up and submitted by the client. SECTION 4. - SCHEDULE OF FEES AND CHARGES.
