ORDINANCE NO: 2004-240 "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2004-240, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE INSTITUTIONALIZING THE OPERATION OF THE SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR, PARTICULARLY SECTIONS 2, 3, AND 4 THEREOF" BE IT ORDAINED by the 8th City Council of the City of Pagadian in session assembled, that: SECTION 1. Sections 2, 3 and 4 of City Ordinance No. 2001-199, entitled: "An Ordinance Institutionalizing the Operation of the Senior Citizens Center in the City of Pagadian, and Providing Funds therefor.: are hereby amended and shall hereafter be read as follows: SECTION 2. COMPOSITION OF THE OFFICE OF THE SENIOR CITIZENS AFFAIRS. The Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) shall have a full time Center Manager, a Center Clerk and a Utility Worker, who shall all come from the ranks of the Senior Citizens Association of Pagadian City and shall be duly selected and designated by the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) Governing Board. SECTION 3. HONORARIUM OF THE CENTER MANAGER, THE CENTER CLERK AND UTILITY WORKER. The following amount of monthly honorarium shall be received by the Center Manager, Center Clerk and Utility Worker, to wit: Center Manager P7,000.00/month Center Clerk 6,000.00/month Utility Worker 4,500.00/month SECTION 4. APPROPRIATION. In order to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of the OSCA, there shall be provided in the regular annual budget of the City Government of Pagadian an appropriation for the honorarium of the designated personnel, operation and maintenance of the OSCA as mandated by R.A. 7876 as further strengthened by R.A. 7432 and recently amended by R.A. 9257. SECTION 2. EFFECTIVITY. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval. ENACTED AND APPROVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (8th City Council) of Pagadian City on its 9th Regular Session held on August 31, 2004 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.
