ORDINANCE NO: 2002-209
"AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITIONS OF BOOKBINDER III (SG-7/1) AND CLERK I (SG-3/1) IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY BUDGET, CiTY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 7TH CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:
SECTION 1. CREATION. There is hereby created in the office of the City Budget, City Government of Pagadian, the position of Bookbinder III, SG-7/1 and Clerk I SG-3/1 which are indispensable to augment the existing workforce, more particularly in the Administrative Division in that office.
SECTION 2. DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS ATTACHED TO THE POSITIONS. Subject to the compliance of the pertinent rules and regulations on personnel administration and other Qualification Standard set by the Civil Service Law, the would-be appointee of the above-created positions shall discharge the following specific duties and functions, to wit:
Clerk I, Salary Grade 3/1
Under immediate supervision, sorts, indexes and files correspondence, records and other documents;
Records telegrams/communication received and transmitted;
Traces/retrieves missing or untransmitted messages;
Maintains records of personnel of the City Budget Office;
Checks and verifies information on forms and other records;
Fills out forms letters and routine endorsement;
Types routine office correspondence forms, communications and reports;
Does other related works, as required.
Bookbinder III, Salary Grade 7/1
Under immediate supervision, maintains books, folders and other important documents and is responsible in sewing/fixing/repairing of books, folders, etc.
Takes charge in indexing and filing of books, folders of documents/pertinent papers in chronological order and binding of annual budget, etc.
Does other related works, as required.
SECTION 3. FUNDING. For this purpose, the above-created positions shall be included/incorporated, with the corresponding amount of appropriations for the salaries and other benefits and emoluments appended thereto, in the Annual Budget of the City Government of Pagadian beginning Calendar Year 2003;
SECTION 4 EFFECTIVITY. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
ENACTED AND APPROVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (7th City Council) of Pagadian City on its 46th Regular Session held on July 31, 2002 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.
