ORDINANCE NO: 2002-208 "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF THE POSITION OF CLERK I, SG-3/1 IN THE OFFICE OF EACH OF THE CITY COUNCILORS IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 7TH CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT: SECTION 1. There is hereby created in the office of each of the City Councilors in the City of Pagadian the position of Clerk I SG-3/1, who shall perform general clerical works as defined and described under existing laws, rules and regulations; SECTION 2. The position of Clerk I, SG-3/1, in the Office of the City Councilor shall be appointed by the City Vice Mayor upon the recommendation of the City Councilor concerned subject to Civil Service Laws, Rules and Regulations, and shall be co-terminus with the tenure of the appointing authority. SECTION 3. For this purpose, the position of Clerk I, SG-3/1 in the individual office of the City Councilor shall be accordingly incorporated in the Annual Budget of the City Government for CY 2003 with the corresponding amount of appropriations covering and inclusive of the emoluments and benefits due to the position, without prejudice to the funding of such position in any of the supplemental budgets for CY 2002. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
