ORDINANCE NO: 2000-185 "AN ORDINANCE FURTHER AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2000-185 AS AMENDED PARTICULARLY ARTICLE V BY ADDING F TO MTRB TO READ AS MTFRB AND SECTION 19 BY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF UNITS FROM TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED (2,500) TO TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY (2,850)" WHEREAS, the function of the MTRB is really the granting of franchise for the tricycles within the jurisdiction of Pagadian City; WHEREAS, there are several tricycles in our city that are having identical number brought about by the renumbering, which were made previously resulting the present attachment of letter A to some of these tricycles; WHEREAS, there are now almost two hundred (200) persons who were listed for reservation because of their desire to operate a tricycle in our city should there be available franchise; NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled that: Section 1. Article V of City Ordinance 1993-110 and all other sections bearing the phrase Motorized Tricycle Regulatory Board (MTRB) be amended to read as Motorized Tricycle Franchising and Regulatory Board (MTFRB). Section 2. Section 19 of the same Ordinance be amended to Two Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty (2,850) from the present Two Thousand Five Hundred (2,500) units. Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval. ENACTED AND APPROVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (6th City Council) of Pagadian City on its 106th Regular Session held on August 30, 2000 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.
