ORDINANCE NO: 1998-142 (Bill No. 0024) "AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING THE AREAS WITHIN 100 METERS FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY, OTHER CITY STREETS, AND THE URBAN AND RURAL BARANGAY ROADS IN THE AGRICULTURAL AREAS OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AS INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL, RESIDENTIAL AND/OR INSTITUTIONAL ACCORDING TO THEIR ACTUAL USE" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF PAGADIAN CITY, THAT: SECTION 1. - This Ordinance is hereby enacted for the purpose of reclassifying all land areas within 100 meters from both sides of the national highway and Barangay roads in the rural and urban barangays as industrial, commercial, residential and/or institutional according to their actual use and economic purpose. SECTION 2. - For purposes of this Ordinance the reclassification of land areas to be affected shall be in accordance with the law and other issuances and orders. SECTION 3. - All previous Ordinances inconsistent with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed and/or modified. SECTION 4. - This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval. ENACTED AND APPROVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Pagadian City during its 130th Regular Session held on January 5, 1998 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.
