ORDINANCE NO: 1997-141 (Bill No. 0040) "AN ORDINANCE FURTHER AMENDING SECTION 19 OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 1997-141, BY INCLUDING AS PART OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF UNITS TO OPERATE WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF PAGADIAN CITY TO INCREASE TO TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED (2,500) UNITS" WHEREAS, there is a need to amend City Ordinance No. 1993-110, particularly Section 19 thereof, to facilitate the accommodation of additional number of units of motorized tricycle for-hire in the City; NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Pagadian, that: SECTION 1. - Section 19 of City Ordinance No. 1993-110, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Only motorized tricycle duly listed with the Sangguniang through the Motorized Tricycle Regulatory Unit (MTRU), x x x x. the number of motorized tricycle for-hire allowed in each route shall be determined in accordance with the Route Measured Capacity (RMC) previously set by the Sangguniang Panlungsod, but in no case the total number of units to operate within the jurisdiction of Pagadian City shall exceed Two Thousand Five Hundred (2,500) Units." SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval. ENACTED AND APPROVED by the 5th City Council of Pagadian City during its 111th Regular Session held on August 25, 1997 at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.
