ORDINANCE NO: 1991-74 "AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL VEHICLES REGISTERED BY THE BUREAU OF LAND TRANSPORTATION, PAGADIAN CITY OFFICE OWNED BY RESIDENCE OF PAGADIAN CITY AND/OR OPERATING PRINCIPALLY WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF PAGADIAN CITY TO POST THE SIGN "KEEP OUR CITY CLEAN" AND PROHIBITS THE POSTING AND/OR PAINTING OF ANY UNNECESSARY MARKINGS IN THE VEHICLES EXCEPT THOSE REQUIRED BY THE BUREAU OF LAND TRANSPORTATION AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE THEREOF" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF PAGADIAN CITY THAT: SECTION 1. - All motor vehicles registered in the Bureau of Land Transportation, Pagadian City Office, owned by residence of Pagadian City and/or operating principally within the territorial limits of Pagadian City, shall be required to be posted with a sticker bearing the sign "KEEP OUR CITY CLEAN" in any conspicuous place inside or outside the subject vehicle. SECTION 2. - Markings, posters and/or stickers of any kind except those specifically required by the Bureau of Land Transportation shall not be allowed to be printed and/or posted inside or outside the vehicle. SECTION 3. - The Office of the City Treasurer, Pagadian City shall be authorized to print the stickers and make the same available to vehicle owners for a reasonable fee to cover the cost of printing. SECTION 4. - Prior to the registration or renewal of registration of vehicle, the Bureau of Land Transportation shall require the motor vehicle owner to acquire a new sticker from the Office of the City Treasurer of Pagadian City to ensure the strict enforcement of this Ordinance. SECTION 5. - Non-compliance of this Ordinance shall subject the owner of the vehicle in question to a fine of Fifty (P50.00) Pesos. SECTION 6. - This Ordinance shall take effect sixty (60) days upon its approval.
