CITY ORDINANCE NO. 35
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1 AND 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 4, S. 1975 KNOWN AS " AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE PAGADIAN CITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT BOARD, ITS STAFF, AND PRESCRIBING THEIR POWERS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES" AND SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO 8, S. 1977 KNOWN AS "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1: C OF ORDINANCE NO. 4, S. 1975, KNOWN AS "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE PAGADIAN CITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT BOARD, ITS STAFF, AND PRESCRIBING THEIR POWERS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF PAGADIAN THAT:
SECTION 1. - Section 1 of Ordinance No. 4, s. 1975 and Ordinance No. 8, s. 1977 are hereby amended to read:
"Section 1. - Creation and Name: The Pagadian City Planning and Development Board, consistent with the provision of Presidential Decree No. 144, the DLGCD Memo-Circular No. 74-20 and MLGCD Memo-Circular No. 76-110, is hereby created which shall be composed of:
City Mayor
City Vice Mayor
All Sangguniang Panlungsod Members
City Treasurer
City Engineer
President of the Association of Barangay Captains
City Development Officer
City Superintendent of Schools
City Health Officer
City Assessor
City Agriculturist
Two (2) representatives of Civic Organizations
One (1) representative of Religious Sector
SECTION 2. - Section 3 of Ordinance No. 4, s. 1975 is hereby amended by adding the following powers, duties and responsibilities of the Board:
1. It shall coordinate at the City level the extension program, priorities, and field operations of the various ministries and agencies of the National Government as well as government corporations, through their senior personnel assigned in the area.
2. It shall promote the Kilusang Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran.
3. It shall monitor and coordinate at the city level livelihood projects, including those under Kilusang Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran of individual or groups of barangays especially on the rationalization consistency and complementary of Kilusang Kabuhayan Projects in the City.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
ENACTED AND APPROVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Pagadian, during its 34th Regular Session on September 7, 1981, at the Session Hall.
