ORDINANCE NO. 3
"AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PERSON(S) FROM LETTING LOOSE OR FROM GRAZING OR TYING THEIR ANIMALS IN PUBLIC PREMISES AND IN OTHER PLACES IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY BOARD OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. The following terms are defined for purposes of this Ordinance, to wit:
a. Persons shall mean natural juridical persons.
b. Grazing means putting animals to feed on a pasture, growing grass, plants and others.
c. Animals shall include goats, sheeps, horses, carabaos, dogs, pigs, cows, ducks, geese and chickens.
d. Public Premises shall mean to include street roads, school grounds, parks, plazas, and other similar places.
e. In Other Places shall mean private property, land or building, where the owner(s) of animals have no right to let loose, to graze or tie their animals.
SECTION 2. Person(s) are prohibited from letting loose, grazing and/or tying their animals in public premises and in other places in the City of Pagadian.
SECTION 3. Any person(s) convicted by the Court for violation of any provision of this Ordinance shall pay a fine of not less than Five (P5.00) Pesos but not more than Twenty-Five (P25.00) Pesos or shall suffer an imprisonment of not less than two (2) days but not more than ten (10) days or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 4. Any ordinance or provisions thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance is or are hereby repealed or amended.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be known as "The Astray Animal Ordinance of the City of Pagadian."
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
ENACTED AND APPROVED by the City Board of Pagadian, during its 5th Regular Session on February 5, 1973, at the Session Hall.
