ORDINANCE NO. 27


"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DISTANCE FOR PLANTINGS ALONG THE BOUNDARY LINES OF LAND HOLDINGS AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"

	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY BOARD OF PAGADIAN, THAT:


      SECTION 1. No trees shall be planted near a tenement or piece of land belonging to another except at a distance of at least two (2) meters from the dividing line of the estate if tall trees are planted, and at a distance of at least fifty (50) centimeters if shrubs or small trees are planted.


      SECTION 2. Any person found violating the Ordinance shall be fined the sum of not less than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos and shall undertake the necessary uprooting of planting at his/her own expense upon conviction by competent Court.


      SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.


      ENACTED AND APPROVED by the City Board of Pagadian, during its 39th Regular Session on September 5, 1973, at the Session Hall, Pagadian City.


      APPROVED by His Honor, the City Mayor, this City, on September 18, 1973.
