ORDINANCE NO. 30
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2, SERIES OF 1970 AND DESIGNATING NEW PARKING PLACES FOR ALL MOTOR VEHICLES AND IMPOSING VERIFICATION FEES THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY BOARD OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. All passenger land transportation bound for Dumalinao, Balongating, Bugwak, Dinas and San Miguel shall park at Baltazar Street between Ramon Magsaysay Avenue and Jamisola Street.
SECTION 2. All East bound passenger buses, jeeps, and jeepneys for Labangan, Tukuran, Aurora, Ozamis City, Iligan City, Cagayan De Oro City, Dao, Bogo, Kagawasan, Danlugan, Macasing and Tulangan shall park at San Pedro District at the junction of the road leading to the Public Market from 6:00 in the morning to 6:00 o' clock in the afternoon, and shall observe thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled time for departure.
SECTION 3. All East bound passenger buses, jeeps, and jeepneys for Labangan, Tukuran, Aurora, Ozamis City, Iligan City, Cagayan De Oro City, Dao, Bogo, Kagawasan, Danlugan, Macasing and Tulangan shall park at the Northern Side of the Old Public Market, National Highway from 6:00 in the evening to 6:00 o' clock in the morning, and shall observe thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled time for departure.
SECTION 4. All land transportation having their own private terminal must not allow any other lines and/or land transportation accepting passengers in the City to park in their private terminals.
SECTION 5. Non-stop buses must provide their own terminal parking area located or situated in a private lot, otherwise, they should park as herein provided.
SECTION 6. Loading and unloading of passengers and cargoes shall be made only at the designated parking areas.
SECTION 7. All passenger land transportation shall pay the following verification fees:
PER DEPARTURE
a. Per Bus P2.00
b. Per Isuzu Jeep (double tire) 1.50
c. Per Isuzu Jeep (single tire) 1.00
d. Per Jeep 0.80
e. Per land transportation mentioned in Sections 1 & 3 0.30
SECTION 8. Any driver and/or proprietor of passenger land transportation convicted for violation of this Ordinance shall pay a fine of not less than Thirty (P30.00) Pesos but not more than Sixty (P60.00) Pesos or suffer an imprisonment of not less than one (1) month but not more than two (2) months or both such fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 9. Any ordinance or part thereof inconsistent with any provision of this Ordinance is hereby amended or repealed.
SECTION 10. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
