ORDINANCE NO. 1
"AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL VENDORS USING WEIGHT AND MEASURES TO PROVIDE THEMSELVES WITH TOLEDO TYPE OF WEIGHING DEVICE AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY BOARD OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. All vendors whether individual or corporation using weight and measure in connection with their respective business in the City of Pagadian are required to use and utilize the Toledo type of weight and measure device.
SECTION 2. Any vendor, natural or juridical person convicted by the Court for violation of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos but not more than One Hundred (P100.00) Pesos or an imprisonment of fifteen (15) days but not more than thirty (30) days or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
ENACTED by the City Board of Pagadian during its Regular Session on January 7, 1970.
