ORDINANCE NO. 33


"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE RATE OF HANDLING AND DELIVERY OF CHARGES ON CARGOES OWNED BY CARGO OWNER AND PASSENGER FROM VESSELS, LAUNCHES, PUMP BOATS, BUSES OR TRUCKS AND OTHER VEHICLES WITHIN THE POBLACION SUCH AS DRIED FISH, TINS OF SALTED FISH, SACK OF PALAY OR CORN AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"


	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:


      SECTION 1. The following rates of charges on cargoes shall be the basis for payment of handing services:


      Handling of dried fish from the boar to the wharf for every25 kilos but not more than 40 kilos at P0.15 centavos;


      Delivery, from the wharf to the cargo truck and deliver up to the cargo owners, houses or warehouse at P0.15 centavos not less than 25 kilos but not more than 40 kilos;


      Loading, from any cargo truck at the wharf area to any boat or vessel at P0.15 centavos dried fish not less than 25 kilos but not more than 40 kilos per box;


      Unloading from the boat to the wharf per box of dried fish not less than 40 kilos but not more than 75 kilos at P0.40 centavos;


      Delivery, from the wharf to the cargo truck and deliver to the owner's house, house or bodega at P0.50 per box not less than 75 kilos but not more than 100 kilos;


      Unloading, tins of salted fish from the boat to the wharf at P0.20 centavos;


      Delivery, for every tin of salted fish from the wharf to cargo truck and deliver up to the owner's bodega at the wharf area at P0.20 centavos;


      Loading from the wharf area to any boat or vessel at P0.50 centavos per box or sack of dried fish not less than 75 kilos but not more than 100 kilos;


      Unloading, sacks of corn grits, corn grains, palay or rice not less than 48  kilos but not more than 70 kilos at P0.20 centavos per sack from the boat to the wharf;


      Delivery, for every sack of corn grits, corn grains, rice or palay not less than 48 kilos but not more than 70 kilos at P0.20 centavos per sack;


      For scaling, every sack of palay, corn grains at P0.05 centavos per sack;


      SECTION 2.	 Penalty: - Any person or persons, corporations, found guilty for violation of any of the provision of this Ordinance shall be sentenced to an imprisonment of not less than ten (10) days but not more than thirty (30) days or to pay a fine of not less than Twenty-Five (P25.00) Pesos but not more than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos or both such fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the Court.


      SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect seven (7) days after its approval.
