ORDINANCE NO. 31


"AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE CONSTRUCTION OF ANY BUILDING  WITHIN A DISTANCE OF TWENTY-FIVE (25) METERS FROM AN ESTABLISHED CEMETERY AND OF THE PERFORATION OF A DISTANCE OF FIFTY (50) METERS THEREFROM AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"


	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:


      SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful to construct any building, either for dwelling, school or business purpose within a distance of twenty-five (25) meters from an established cemetery or the perforation of a well or other source of water supply within a distance of fifty (50) meters therefrom.


      SECTION 2.	 Any building or source of water supply that may hereafter be constructed or established in violation of this Ordinance shall be removed by the owner of his own expense within thirty (30) days after the decision of the Court of competent jurisdiction.


      SECTION 3.	Any person or corporation violating this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than Ten (P10.00) Pesos nor more than Two Hundred (P200.00) Pesos or by an imprisonment of not less than one (1) month nor more than six (6) months or both such fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the Court.


      SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
