ORDINANCE NO. 24
"AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE GAME OF "MARBLE BILLIARD" AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. It is prohibited for any person to play the game of "marble billiard". "Marble Billiard" is a game played on a 'poll table" with marble balls hit by a pole or stick.
SECTION 2. It is prohibited and unlawful for any person to own, possess and/or display the paraphernalia of "marble billiard."
SECTION 3. Any person convicted for violation of this Ordinance shall pay a fine not exceeding Thirty (P30.00) Pesos or shall suffer an imprisonment of not exceeding one (1) month, or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court. In addition to the penalties above-mentioned, the paraphernalia of the "marble billiard" shall be confiscated in favor of the Municipal Government of Pagadian.
SECTION 4. Any ordinance or part thereof inconsistent to this Ordinance is hereby amended, repealed or abrogated.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
