ORDINANCE NO. 2


"AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ANY BOOKKEEPER OR ACCOUNTANT WHOSE SPOUSE IS SERVING AS COLLECTION AGENT OR INTERNAL REVENUE AGENT OR OFFICER IN PAGADIAN TO ACT OR SERVE AS BOOKKEEPER OR ACCOUNTANT OF ANY BUSINESS OR CITIZEN IN PAGADIAN AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"


	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:

	SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful and strictly prohibited for any bookkeeper or accountant, whose spouse is serving as collection agent or Internal Revenue Officer in Pagadian, to act or serve as bookkeeper or accountant of any businessman or citizen in Pagadian.

	SECTION 2.	 Any person convicted for violation of this Ordinance by the Court, shall pay a fine of not more than Two Hundred (P200.00) Pesos or shall suffer an imprisonment of not more than two (2) months but not less than one (1) month, or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.

	SECTION 3.	 Any ordinance or part thereof inconsistent to the provisions of this Ordinance is hereby deemed amended, repealed or abrogated.


      SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect on January 3, 1968.
