ORDINANCE NO. 47
"AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON LA SOLIDARIDAD DRIVE AND CAPITOL AVENUE AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. One-way traffic is hereby prescribed on the following routes:
a. Motor vehicle coming to Pagadian from Dumalinao upon arriving Balangasan bridge shall proceed towards Gatas bridge and shall proceed towards Gatas bridge and turn left along the La Solidaridad Drive up to Cayetano Arellano Street, thence to the Municipal Plaza;
b. Motor vehiclesgoing to Dumalinao from Pagadian upon arriving Gatas bridge on Arellano Street shall proceed following Arellano Street up to Capitol Avenue until the National Highway.
SECTION 2. All drivers of motor vehicles shall follow the one-way traffic route prescribed in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. Any driver found guilty and convicted by the Court for violation of this Ordinance shall pay a fine of not less than Twenty-Five (P25.00) Pesos nor more than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos or shall suffer an imprisonment of not less than one (1) month nor more than six (6) months or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 4. Any ordinance or part thereof inconsistent with this Ordinance is hereby repealed or amended.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
