ORDINANCE NO. 20
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1 SERIES OF 1958, IN REFIXING THE DISTANCE OF COCKPITS AT THE RADIUS OF ONE HUNDRED (100) LINEAL METERS FROM ANY PUBLIC OR GOVERNMENT BUILDING, SCHOOL, HOSPITAL, CHURCHES AND THE LIKE AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person or group of persons to establish, maintain and/or operate a cockpit within the radius of one hundred (100) lineal meters from any public building, school, hospitals, church or the like.
SECTION 2. Any person or group of persons found violating Section 1 of this Ordinance, shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not less than One Hundred (P100.00) Pesos but not more than Two Hundred (P200.00) Pesos or by an imprisonment of not less than one (1) month but not more than five (5) months or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 3. This ordinance or part thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance is hereby amended or repealed.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
