ORDINANCE NO. 13


"AN ORDINANCE PENALIZING JAYWALKING"


	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:

	SECTION 1. The following premises or areas are designated as the areas within which this Ordinance is enforceable:
     a. Mabini Street from the Principe Hotel to Cabrera Street;
     b. National Highway from Sikatuna Street up to Araullo Street.

      SECTION 2.	Pedestrian in crossing the street shall follow the pedestrian lanes and obey the traffic officer within the areas designated in Section 1, hereof.


      SECTION 3.	Any pedestrian found violating Section 2 hereof, shall, upon conviction by the Court, pay a fine of not less than Five (P5.00) Pesos nor more than Ten (10) Pesos or suffer an imprisonment of not less than two (2) days nor more than five (5) days in the discretion of the Court.


      SECTION 4.	This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
