ORDINANCE NO. 11
"AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR HIS DULY AUTHORIZED PERSON TO INSPECT, EXAMINE AND DEMAND ISSUANCE OF SALES INVOICES OR CINEMATOGRAPH ENTRANCE TICKETS AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF OR ON REFUSAL OF PERSONS CONCERNED"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and/or his authorized representative is hereby authorized to inspect, examine or demand issuance of sales invoices or cinematographic tickets in order that all bought merchandise or goods from business concerned are properly issued sales invoices and that movie ticket sold are properly disposed of without being sold.
SECTION 2. All proprietors, managers or personnel of business concerns or cinematographic theaters must cooperate and extend full assistance to the Mayor or his duly authorized representative in their implementation of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. Any proprietor, manager or personnel of business concerned or cinematographic theater violating Section 2 of this Ordinance, shall, upon conviction by the Court, be punished by imprisonment by not less than One (1) week nor more than One (1) month or by fine of not less than Ten (P10.00) Pesos nor more than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
