ORDINANCE NO. 8
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERE FOUR, SERIES 1963 AND IMPOSING LICENSE FEES PER ANNUM ON THE BUSINESS OR MOTORCAB AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. No person, corporation, association, partnership or other juridical persons, shall engage in the business of Motorcab or pedicab without first securing a permit from the Municipal Mayor or his authorized representative, and without paying the corresponding license fees thereof.
SECTION 2. For every unit of motorcab or pedicab, the owner shall pay the following license fees:
PER ANNUM
For every unit of motorcab P60.00
For every unit of pedicab 30.00
SECTION 3. Any owner of motorcab or pedicab found violating any provision of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction by the Court, shall pay a fine of not less than Two Hundred (P200.00) Pesos nor more than Five Hundred (P500.00) Pesos or suffer an imprisonment of not less than One (1) month nor more than Six (6) months or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 4. Any ordinance or part thereof inconsistent with an provision of this Ordinance is hereby repealed or amended.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
