ORDINANCE NO. 24
"AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING FEES ON HEALTH CERTIFICATES IS ISSUED BY PAGADIAN MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICER REQUIRING HOSTESSESS, WAITERS, WAITRESSES, FOOD HANDLERS, DRIVERS, CIGARETTE VENDORS, DRIED FISH VENDORS, SALES GIRLS, SALES BOYS, MASSUERS, BARBERS, TUBA VENDORS, TUBA GATHERERS, BUTCHERS, MEAT VENDORS, MOVIE TICKET SELLERS, DOCKHANDS, CARGO CARRIERS, PASSENGER AGENTS, ICE DROPS VENDORS, VEGETABLE VENDORS AND OTHER PERSONS SUBMIT TO PAGADIAN MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICER FOR HEALTH EXAMINATION AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. The following persons shall submit for health examination to Pagadian Health Officer and shall pay the following graduated scale of health certificate fees:
Hostesses P5.00 initial health examination
1.00 per re-examination to be determined by the Municipal Health Officer
waiters, waitresses, food handlers, drivers, cigarette vendors, dried fish vendors, sales girls, sales boys, massuers, barbers, tuba vendors, tuba gatherers, butchers, meat vendors, movie ticket sellers, dockhands, cargo carriers, passenger agents 1.00 per quarterly health examination
Ice drop vendor, ice cream vendor, vegetable vendor 0.50 per quarterly health examination
Medico Legal ceritificate 5.00
Other persons health certificate 1.00
SECTION 2. Any ordinance or part thereof inconsistent with this Ordinance is hereby amended or repealed.
SECTION 3. Any person convicted for violation of Section 1, of this Ordinance shall pay a fine of not less than Twenty (P20.00) Pesos nor more than Sixty (P60.00) Pesos or suffer an imprisonment of not less than ten (10) days or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
