ORDINANCE NO. 8
"AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING TRAFFIC RULES AND REGULATIONS AND DESIGNATING PARKING AREA FOR MOTOR CABS AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:
SECTION 1. All motor cabs should park at the National Highway in front of the old public market. In no case should any motor cab driver park any motor cab at the opening of the public market alley.
SECTION 2. Motor cab driver is strictly prohibited form accepting loading any motor cab more than three (3) passengers so that the load limit of any motor cab should not exceed four (4) persons including the driver.
SECTION 3. Motor cab driver is strictly prohibited to run any motor cab more than five (5) miles per hour on race with each other.
SECTION 4. All motor cabs are strictly prohibited to enter the wharf area from the Principe Hotel limit. Consequently, any motor cab driver is prohibited to drive his motor cab beyond the Principe Hotel area to the wharf.
SECTION 5 Any motor cab driver convicted for violation of this Ordinance shall pay a fine of not less than Twenty (P20.00) Pesos nor more than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos or suffer an imprisonment of not less than Ten (10) days nor more than One (1) month or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall effect immediately upon approval.
