ORDINANCE NO. 4


"AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING TAXES AND REGISTRATION FEES PER ANNUM ON MOTOR CAB AND PEDICABS AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"

      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:

	SECTION 1. No person, corporation, association, partnership or other juridical persons, shall operate or engage in the business of, motor cab or pedicab for passenger hire or personal use without first securing a permit from the Municipal Mayor or his authorized representative, and without first registering same motor cab or pedicab in the Office of the Municipal Treasurer, Pagadian, this Province.

	SECTION 2. Any person or persons violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall,  upon conviction, be penalized by fine and imprisonment as follows:
     a. P200.00 fine and six (6) months imprisonment for public officials and employees, Peace Officers or Agents of Government Law Enforcing Agency.




	SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be known as Municipal Ordinance No. 3, current series, and shall take effect immediately upon approval.
