ORDINANCE NO. 19
"AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ANY PERSON FROM ISSUING OR GRANTING ANY PERMIT WITHOUT AUTHORITY OF LAW FOR ANY PUBLIC MEETING OR RALLY AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:
SECTION 1. No person shall issue or grant any permit without authority of law for any public meeting or rally.
SECTION 2. Any person issuing or granting any permit without authority of law for any public meeting or rally shall suffer the penalty imposed by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. No person shall hold any public meeting or rally without first securing a permit from the Municipal Mayor or his duly authorized representative.
SECTION 4. Any person holding public meeting or rally without the necessary permit from the Municipal Mayor or his duly authorized representative shall suffer the penalty imposed by this Ordinance.
SECTION 5. Any ordinance or part thereof inconsistent with any of the provision of this Ordinance is hereby amended or repealed.
SECTION 6. Any person issuing or granting permit without authority of law for any public meeting or rally and/or any person holding public (office) meeting or rally without the necessary permit from the Municipal Mayor shall upon conviction, pay a fine of not less than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos nor more than Two Hundred (P200.00) Pesos or suffer an imprisonment of not less than Three (3) months nor more than Six (6) months or both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
SECTION 7. This Ordinance shall take effect on September 20, 1963.
