ORDINANCE NO. 2


"AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PERSONS FROM LIVING WITHIN THE PREMISES OF THE OLD PUBLIC MARKET AND IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"

	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:

	SECTION 1. Definition of terms:

     a. Premises - include stores and/or building within the old public market site.
     b. Old Public Market is that area with the following boundaries:
        North - National Highway
        South - Blumentrit Street
        East - Bonifacio Street
        West - Mabini Street
     c. Persons - include the store owner, his family, all other persons under his management and authority and the building permittee.

	SECTION 2.	No person shall live or make quarters in any building or store within the premises of the old public market or do any other act making the premises of the old public market a place of residence.


      SECTION 3.	Any person convicted for violation of any of the provision of this Ordinance shall pay a fine of not less than Thirty (P30.00) Pesos nor more than Two Hundred (P200.00) Pesos or suffer an imprisonment of not less than Twenty (20) days nor more than Six (6) months.


      SECTION 4.	Any ordinance or part thereof inconsistent with this Ordinance or any of the provisions hereof is hereby repealed.


      SECTION 5.	This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
