ORDINANCE NO. 1


"AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PERSONS FROM CONSTRUCTING ANY STRUCTURE OR BUILDING ON PUBLIC ALLEYS IN PAGADIAN"

	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:

	SECTION 1. No person or building permittee shall construct any structure or building on or encroaching on the public alley in Pagadian.

	SECTION 2.	Any building permit granted by the Office of the Mayor is understood to provide that the eave of a building or any structure must be two (2) meters away from the monument of the alley.

	SECTION 3.	The eave of any building or structure constructed must be two (2) meters away from the monument of public alley.


      SECTION 4.	Any person or building permittee convicted for violation of any of the provision of this Ordinance shall suffer a fine of not less than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos nor more than Two Hundred (P200.00) Pesos and an imprisonment of not less than Twenty (20) days nor more than Six (6) months in the discretion of the Court and shall demolish immediately at his expense that part or portion of the building or structure encroaching on the alley.


      SECTION 5.	Any ordinance or part thereof inconsistent with this Ordinance is hereby repealed.


      SECTION 6.	This Ordinance shall take effect on March 1, 1962.
