ORDINANCE NO. 9


"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING LOADING AND/OR UNLOADING PASSENGERS BY TARTANILLA, REQUIRING TARTANILLA OPERATOR TO INSTALL ALARM BELL ON TARTANILLA, PROHIBITING TARTANILLA OPERATORS TO HARNESS UNTAMED OR UNTRAINED HORSES AND IMPOSING PENALTY THEREOF"

	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:

	SECTION 1. No cochero shall load and/or unload passengers and/or cargoes except at the extreme right side of the road designated for such purpose.

	SECTION 2. Every tartanilla operator or proprietor shall install an alarm bell on every tartanilla under him.

	SECTION 3.	 No tartanilla operator shall harness an untamed or untrained horse for public service.

	SECTION 4. The Chief of Police or his authorized person is authorize to inspect the service worthiness of tartanillas and to prohibit the use of weak and service unworthy tartanilla.

	SECTION 5. 	No tartanilla is allowed to pass the section of Mabini Street from the national highway up to Mapa Street and vice versa.

	SECTION 6. Any person convicted for violation of this ordinance shall punished by a fine of not more than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos nor less than Ten (P10.00) Pesos or an imprisonment of not more than Fifteen (15 ) Days or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.

	SECTION 7. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
