ORDINANCE NO. 6


"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR VERIFICATION OF ALL FISHES BY A COMPETENT AUTHORITY AS TO WHETHER OR NOT SAID FISHES ARE CAUGHT BY MEANS OF EXPLOSIVES OR POISON AND IMPOSING VERIFICATION FEE AND PENALTY THEREOF"

	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:

      	SECTION 1. Owner and/or vendor of all fishes, either for personal consumption or for sale, within the Municipality of Pagadian must submit their fishes for verification to the Municipal Health Officer or his authorized representative assisted by policemen, as to whether or not said fishes are caught by means of explosive poison.

	SECTION 2. The owner and/or vendor of the fish shall pay a verification fee of two centavos per kilo.

	SECTION 3. Any person convicted for violation of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than thirty (P30.00) Pesos or an imprisonment of not more than fifteen (15) days or both an imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
