ORDINANCE NO. 35
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ORDINANCE NUMBERED FIFTEEN, SERIES 1956, AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to bring in public places or social gatherings, knife of any kind and size, ice pick, dagger of any kind and size, chisel, scissors, razor and screw driver. Said articles upon confiscation by Peace Officer, shall be forfeited in favor of the government.
SECTION 2. Section 2, of Ordinance Number 5, series of 1956, of this municipality, which reads:
"Any person, etc..." shall be read as follows:
Section 2. Any person or persons convicted for violation of this ordinance shall be punished, for the first offense by a fine of not less than Twenty-Five (P25.00) Pesos nor more than One Hundred (P100.00) Pesos and by an imprisonment of not less than Thirty Five (35) days nor more than seventy (70) days; for the third offense, by a fine of not less than Thirty-Five (P35.00) Pesos nor more than One Hundred Fifty (P150.00) Pesos and by an imprisonment of not less than forty (40) days nor more than eighty (80) days; for the succeeding offenses, by a fine of not less than fifty (P50.00) pesos nor more than Three Hundred (P300.00) Pesos and by an imprisonment of not less than forty five (45) days nor more than ninety days.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
