ORDINANCE NO. 19
"AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING REGULATION ON PORTERS AND CARGO CARRIERS"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN, THAT:
SECTION 1. All porters and/or cargo carriers shall register his name in the Office of the Municipal Mayor and shall pay a registration fee of Fifty Centavos.
SECTION 2. No person shall work as porter without first securing a permit from the Municipal Mayor.
SECTION 3. The permitee shall place on the permit his picture for identification purposes.
SECTION 4. Every porter and/or cargo carrier shall provide himself an identification badge numbered correspondingly with the permit number.
SECTION 5. No porter and/or cargo carrier shall ascend the vessel before the gangplank or "Andamio" is properly placed.
SECTION 6. Any person found violating any provision of this Ordinance, shall, upon conviction, pay a fine of not less than Ten (P10.00) Pesos nor more than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos or suffer an imprisonment of not less than Five (5) Days nor more than One (1) Month or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Court.
