ORDINANCE NO. 1
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING PERSONS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF LABOR UNIONS, DISPATCHERS, CONDUCTORS AND DRIVERS OF PASSENGER TRUCKS, DISPATCHERS AND/OR AGENTS OF SHIPPING COMPANY TO PROVIDE THEMSELVES WITH BADGES AND IDENTIFICATION CARDS, THE SAME TO BE REGISTERED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE, AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT
SECTION 1. It shall be required to all persons who are members of labor union, dispatchers, conductors and drivers of passenger trucks, dispatchers and/or agents of shipping company to provide themselves at their own expense, with bags and identification cards with picture of their own, the badges to be placed conspicuously on their body and numbered consecutively;
SECTION 2. That any person or persons concerned in this ordinance found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Ten Pesos (P10.00) but not more than Thirty Pesos (P30.00), or by imprisonment of not less than Ten (10) days but not more than One (1) month, or both, fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court;
SECTION 3. That any ordinance whose provisions in part or in full, contrary to and in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall be hereby repealed;
SECTION 4. That this ordinance, to be known as Ordinance No. 1, of the Municipality, shall take effect upon its approval.
