ORDINANCE NO. 2
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL OWNERS AND/OR OPERATORS OF OUTBOARD MOTORS WITH THE CORRESPONDING VINTAS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAGADIAN TO REGISTER IN THE TREASURER'S OFFICE THEIR OUTBOARD MOTORS AND VINTAS, TO HAVE THEIR VINTAS NUMBERED, TO SECURE A PERMIT FROM THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR BEFORE REGISTERING THE SAME FOR OPERATION AND TO PAYS THE CORRESPONDING REGISTRATION FEE OF ONE PESO (P1.00) AND PROVIDING PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to operate an outboard motor with corresponding vinta without first securing a permit from the Municipal Mayor, and registering the same in the Office of the Municipal Treasurer.
Section 2. All motors with the corresponding vintas registered in the Office of the Municipal Treasurer will numbered, the numbered to be place in a conspicuous place ion the vinta for identification purposes.
Section 3. For each motor with the corresponding vinta registered in the Office of the Municipal Treasurer, there shall be collected the amount of One Peso (P1.00) as registration fee.
Section 4. Any person, firm or corporation found violating the provisions of this ordinance, shall upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Ten Pesos (P10.00) nor more than Twenty (P20.00), or by imprisonment of not less than Five (5) days nor more than Fifteen (15) days, or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
Section 5. Any ordinance whose provisions in part or in full, is contrary to and in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall be hereby repealed.
Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
