ORDINANCE NO. 5
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION SIX LETTER B OF ORDINANCE NUMBERED FOURTEEN S. 1951 OF THIS MUNICIPALITY AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT
Section 1. Section Six Letter (b) of Ordinance numbered Fourteen, series of Nineteen Hundred Fifty One, be amended by Section One of Ordinance Numbered Five, series of Nineteen Hundred Fifty Five to read as follows:
"The work of tapping the main, connecting the service pipe thereto, and laying the pipe from the main to the house, materials and appurtenance and including the digging and back filling of trench will be performed by the Waterworks employees of the District Engineer at the expense of the applicant, plus a nominal charge of 10% of the total cost from the main of the property line, and proper officials receipt be issued in favor to the Municipal Government."
Section 2. Any applicants found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction be punished by a fine of not less than Ten (P10.00) Pesos, but not more than Twenty (P20.00) Pesos, or by imprisonment of not less than Ten (10) days, and not more than Twenty (20 days or both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
Section 3. Any ordinance or part of an ordinance whose provisions are contrary to, or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall be hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance to be known as Ordinance No. 5, series of 1955, shall take effect upon its approval.
