AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING EVERY HOUSE HOLDER, HOTEL OWNER AND LODGING HOUSE OWNER IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAGADIAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR MAKE PROMPT REPORT IN WRITING TO THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR, OR THE CHIEF OF POLICE, OR THE NEAREST MUNICIPAL COUNCILOR, OR THE BARRIO LIEUTENANTOF THE BARRIO CONCERNED, OF THE NAME, RESIDENCE AND IDENTIFICATION, OF ANY TRANSIENT OR NON-RESIDENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY COMING INTO HIS HOUSE, HOTEL AND LODGING HOUSE FOR ACCOMMODATION OR SHELTER, AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.





BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT

      Section 1. Every house holder, hotel owners and lodging house owner in the Municipal of Pagadian, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, is hereby required to make prompt report in writing to the Municipal Mayor, or the Chief of Police, or the nearest Municipal Councilor, or the Barrio Lieutenant of the Barrio concerned, of the name, residence and identification of any transient or non-resident of the Municipality coming into his house for accommodation or shelter.   If the house holder owner and lodging house owner cannot properly identify and/or guarantee the character of said transient or transients the same should be so stated in the report.  That all such report or reports received by the Municipal Mayor and Barrio Lieutenant should be immediately transmitted to the Chief of Police for record purpose.











	Section 2. Any house holder hotel owner and lodging house owner found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Twenty (P20.00) Pesos, but not more than Two Hundred (P200.00) Pesos, or by imprisonment of not less than Twenty (20) days, but not more than Two (2) months, or both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.


	Section 3. This ordinance, to be known as Ordinance No. 2, shall take effect upon its approval.
