ORDINANCE NO. 180
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION AND USE OF PUSH-CART IN THE POBLACION OF PAGADIAN, AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for a person or persons to operate and use push-cart (carreto) without first securing the permit from the Municipal Mayor, and pay the corresponding permit fee therefore, in the amount of One Pesos (P1.00) per annum.
Section 2. That no person or persons below the age of eighteen (18) years shall be allowed to operate and use push-cart (carrito); that no "joy ride" shall be allowed; and that speed of push-cart (carrito) going downward in all the streets in the Poblacion shall be as slow as possible.
Section 3. Any person or persons found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Five Pesos (P5.00), but nor more than Ten Pesos (P10.00); or by imprisonment for not less than Five (5) days, but not more than Ten (10) days, or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
Section 4. Any ordinance, or part of an ordinance whose provisions are contrary to, and in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, shall be hereby repealed.
Section 5. This Ordinance to be known as Ordinance No. 180, shall take effect upon its approval.
