ORDINANCE NO. 116
AN ORDINANCE THE RATE OF FEE FOR BAHAN AND PENALTY HEREOF IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAGADIAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT
Section 1. Bahan is a type of fishing with the use of net and coconut leaves.
Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to apply or use his bahan in the sea within the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Pagadian without first securing permit from the Office of the Municipal Mayor. Wit this permit duly signed, he present it to the Municipal Treasurer, or his duly authorized representatives who, shall collect from his quarterly fee of One Hundred (P100.00) Pesos, with his corresponding license therefore issued to him.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation found violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, pay a fine of not less than One Hundred (P100.00) Pesos, or suffer an imprisonment of not less than Fifteen (15) days, nor more than Forty Five (45) days, or both and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
Section 4. Any Ordinance or part of an Ordinance which may in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance shall be hereby repealed.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
