ORDINANCE NO. 164
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING HOUSE OWNERS IN THE POBLACION OF PAGADIAN TO MAKE IMMEDIATE REPAIR OF HIS HOUSE WHEN SUCH HOUSE OR HOUSES ARE ALREADY IN A DILAPIDATED CONDITION, AND REQUIRING AT THE SAME TIME HOUSE OWNERS TO HAVE THEIR LOTS CLEANED AND FENCED AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:
Section 1. That all house owners in the Poblacion of Pagadian are required to make immediate repair of his house or houses are already in a dilapidated condition, and at the same time required to have their lot cleaned and fenced;
Section 2. Any person found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Ten (P10.00) Pesos, but not more than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos, or by imprisonment of not less than Five (5) days, nor more than Twenty (20) days, or both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court;
Section 3. Any ordinance, whose provisions are contrary to, and in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, shall be hereby repealed;
Section 4. This Ordinance, to be known as Ordinance No. 8, shall take effect upon its approval.
