ORDINANCE NO. 160
AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING RATES OF PAYMENT FOR SWORN STATEMENT TO BEFORE THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR OR MUNICIPAL TREASURER THIS MUNICIPALITY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to own outboard motors in the office of the Municipal Treasurer, Pagadian, Zamboanga del Sur.
Section 2. Owners or operators of outboard registered for business purposes, with the Municipal Treasurer, shall pay an annual license of Twenty Pesos (P20.00) of Five (P5.00) Pesos a quarter.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation found violating the provision of this ordinance, shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not more than Ten (P10.00) Pesos, nor more than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos, or by imprisonment of not less than Ten (10) days, nor more than Twenty (20) days, or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
Section 4. Any ordinance whose provisions or part thereof are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
