ORDINANCE NO. 158
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE RATE OF FEES CHARGES BY PLUMBERS FOR THEIR LABOR SERVICES IN CONNECTING WATER PIPES FROM THE MAINLINE PIPE TO ANY HOUSE OR PLACE OF PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:
Section 1. That the rate of fees charged by plumbers for their labor services in connecting water pipes from the mainline pipe to houses and other places of private individuals be and is hereby regulated as follows:
a- That the minimum rate of fees shall not be less than Ten (P10.00) Pesos; and
b- That the maximum rate of fees shall not be more than Thirty Percent (30%) of the total cost of the materials used.
Section 2. That any Plumber or Plumbers found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not less than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos, nor more than Two Hundred (P200.00) Pesos, or by imprisonment of not less than One (1) month, nor more than Six (6) months, or both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
Section 3. That this Ordinance, to be known as Ordinance No. 158 shall take effect immediately its approval.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
