ORDINANCE NO. 154

















AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL PERSONS TRANSPORTING OR SHIPPING CORN, MILLED CORN,  PALAY AND CLEAN RICE TO SECURE A PERMIT AND TO PAY A NOMINAL INSPECTION FEE THEREFORE, AND IMPOSING PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.





BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:









      Section 1. No person or persons shall be allowed to transport or ship corn, milled corn, palay and clean rice without first securing a permit from the Office of the Municipal Mayor and pay the corresponding inspection fee therefore, of prescribed as follows:


     a- For every cavan of corn grain ............................. P0.02.5
     b- For every cavan of milled corn ............................ P0.02.5
     c- For every cavan of palay ..................................... P0.02.5
     d- For every cavan of clean rice ..............................   0.05








      Section 2. Any person found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Ten (P10.00) Pesos, nor more than Thirty (P30.00) Pesos, or by imprisonment of not less than Five (5) days, nor more than Fifteen (15) days, or both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.



	Section 3. Any ordinance, in part or in full, whose provisions are contrary to, and in conflict with, the provisions of this ordinance, shall be hereby repealed.

	Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
